March

When palms release their brown limbs
And pollen buds withdraw in the early cool
When resolutions are put to the test
And my body yearns for another cup of chai
When dreams confuse as though a Tuesday
And their liklihood go under a microscope
When darkness enters each day sooner
And my hunger deepens for substance
When waters become assertively chilled
And my intentions need compelling
When magnolias find debris in waxy splendour
And I spend all day mulling over tomorrows decisions.
